Tell Me You Love MeMy page is always blank.
Just as the glass is always full,
the molecules of H2O
collide with the oxygen, the CO2 in the air
and who knows what else is in the atmosphere?
Because that's not the point.

My page is always blank.
Though my thoughts fill up the empty cavity
that was my mind, a forgotten memory
unearths itself and dictates
that I...cannot write, but only state
the intangible feelings that my mind sends the heart,
that they are, indeed, nonexistent.

Maybe everything I see or seem
as Allan Poe would say
is but a dream within a dream.
Though comatose can cause no pain
when you overdose on novocaine.
The ecstasy pulsing through my ve
will you stay?If… if you know who I am
Will you stay?
Will you still laugh and smile
And cry those honest tears
Will you still be you
When you’re with me?
Or will you fade away
Like the rest?
I… I’m used to hiding

and all the words i'd ever known
and now i'm struggling to understand it
like the way i can never understand you.

because i've always used verse
to try and understand my world
but what do i do when you have rendered
my ability to comprehend things
as useless as the effort i give
to try and piece together all your mysteries
like some kind of jigsaw puzzle
which refuses to fit together.

but you once said that it's

I turned away not even looking back
And I know that you must hate me now

On the cusp of something that could blossom.

I see the edge and the wind at our backs,
We are creeping toward that edge.

I am swept up by the scent and the energies that surround us,
Is this real or merely what is expected?

Is it the sun or merely a reflection?

I feel the energies cheering us on,

As both the sun and rain make the plants on earth
grow, you make love grow inside of me.

Every moment I am with you is precious to me and
when you are away from me, I long for you.

When you make love to me, it is too special for words
to describe.  To be that close with you, to touch you
and be touched by you.

I would only like to spend the rest of my life
loving you and being loved by you.

When it is my time to part from this world,
I will leave knowing that I have been truly loved.

                        we'll send the evil spirits to their deaths!
                        it's hot and dry, through the desert sand
                        guide me Sheva, through this foreign land
                         I've slain tribal warriors and demon dogs
                              dodged crocodiles in misty bogs
                          charge Sheva, we'll go on the attack!
                                if you fall, I've got your back
                              menaced by chainsaws, spears,
                                          or gatling guns
                               our foes will fall, we won't run
                              it's bright and clear, just around
                                               the bend
                             monsters will die, horrors will end

A while back I wrote a poem about resident evil 4 called "Ashley." Once I beat resident evil 5 I wrote a poem about the main female in that game Sheva Alomar. The poem takes place in the perspective of Chris and/or the player. This one isn't as straight up romantic as "Ashley" but there is a bit of romance in this one.There isn't a whole lot of Chris/Sheva romantic moments in the game, but hey, that's the point of deviant art right, to change things to the way we'd like them to be.

P.S the very last line of the poem is actually said by Chris at the end of the game.
